Release #13/2023: Widget-Based Custom Views

We’re thrilled to introduce some exciting changes to our app, making it more versatile and user-friendly. We’ve revamped our front-end structure and transitioned to a widget-based UI, allowing you to personalize your experience. Here’s a quick rundown of the changes:

1. Dynamic Dashboard Blocks

Now, your dashboard blocks are dynamic, giving you the power to choose what you see when you sign in to the app. This means you can tailor your dashboard to display the information and tools that matter most to you.

2. Customizable Notebooks and Calendar

We’ve also added these widgets to our note, notebooks and calendar pages. When you’re working on your notes, you can now pick and choose what you want to in the left or right column - or you can choose to hide it entirely if you prefer. Whether you’re editing your notes or exploring your knowledge base, you have the flexibility to choose the widgets to meet your unique needs. Here are some examples of how you can benefit:

  • Side-by-Side Notes: If you’re working on two notes simultaneously, simply choose the widgets, and you can have them side by side for easy access. You can edit both notes side by side.

  • Calendar View: Need a calendar view next to your notes for date-based navigation? You got it! Add your calendar widget in the other column.

  • Notebook and Tags Widgets: Easily find your notes by hierarchy or by tag by utilizing the notebook and tags widgets.

  • Recent Notes Widget: Don’t waste time searching for your recent work. With the recent note widget, you can instantly access the last 10 notes you’ve been working on.

These changes empower you to take control of your app experience, ensuring that it caters to your unique workflow and preferences. We’re committed to providing you with a user-centric experience, and these new features are just the beginning. We plan on adding more widgets over the next few months.
